Domestic Stabbing Turns Deadly

Quote
A woman died Saturday night after she was stabbed multiple times by her live-in boyfriend, Sacramento Sheriff Sgt. Tim Curran said.

It happened after 7 p.m. at the 2600 block of Cottage Way near Fulton Avenue in Sacramento.

The suspect sustained injuries after crashing the vehicle he used to flee the scene. He is in the hospital Saturday night and is expected to survive.

The victim had a restraining order against the suspect.

What are people thinking, or are they thinking at all. I cannot believe how many people are killing spouses or mates these days. I would like to hear the explanation by the doctors.

Who thinks up these headlines? Are there non-deadly domestic stabbings going on somewhere?

I guess those stabbings in which nobody dies? Wink

I agree that this headline is pretty lame though.

I assume that maybe the original title was supposed to be "Domestic Dispute Turns Deadly" but someone decided "Stabbing" was a more eye-catching word.

You know reporters, whatever they think will get the readers attention, obviously it worked as we are all commenting on it. So kudos to the reporter.

That's great advice! I will use "stabbing" in whatever threads I start here because I know they'll get attention!
