Schwarzenegger Breaks Leg In Skiing Accident

Quote
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is recovering after breaking his leg while skiing with his family Saturday morning in Sun Valley, Idaho.

A spokesman said Schwarzenegger was taken to a local hospital for X-rays and was soon discharged with a fracture to his right femur.

Schwarzenegger plans have surgery to repair his femur when he returns to Los Angeles from his scheduled Christmas trip.

How brittle do you think the steroid use made his bones?

Anyone have an update on Arnold's condition?  Is he able to get around without too much assistance now?

At this moment, I believe doctors have told him to stay off of his feet, so he'll be missing the pre-inaugural festivities today...

Yes, they said to stay off of the bone, until it is good and healed. I think the Docs feel he won`t mind them anyway, so total rest is recommended. The steroid use is a consideration. I guess thats why they want him to stay off of it. The soft bone, thing ,from steroid use. Can`t be good.
