You think being so overwhelmingly Democratic is good for California? You're taken for granted. You think the pols in Washington listen to your demands? Or do they race to a swing state like Florida at the first whiff of a hurricane?

California isn't as "overwhelmingly Democratic" as I wish it to be!! Wink

It's mostly the heavily populated areas of California that are blue & the rest are red. I just posted a cartogram showing the 2004 election results in another thread. Here are some other maps that show what I'm talking about:

Hey. That's not fair. Getting a sinking feeling in my stomach as I see your graphics.  But then I remembered that's 2004, not 2006. You got similar graphics for 2006? I take back my question about being too blue. I want more blue.  Big Grin
