Does anyone else here take cans and plastic bottles to recycling centers? If so, where? And do they require you to remove the caps from the plastic bottles? The closest place to our house does, but I've been told that others do not. Would I lose $$ by not including those caps? Sorry if these are weird questions. I've been recycling through the county, but wouldn't mind having a little mad money from cans & plastic

I just came across this site that lets you search by zip code and shows recycling centers using Google Maps. It obviously doesn't have all of them, but it appears to have the one on Fair Oaks I mentioned.
