A school bus driver was injured Monday when the bus he was driving slammed into a Citrus Heights house.

The crash took place shortly after 1 p.m. near the intersection of Antelope Road and Lone Wood Way.

There was one boy on the bus, but witnesses said he was not injured.

Neighbors helped the driver and boy out of the bus.

There was no immediate word on what caused the crash.
