As family and friends tried to cope with their loss, Sacramento Police investigators were asking for the public's help Sunday to solve the murder of a 21-year-old Sacramento woman shot and killed in a drive-by shooting.

A group of nearly two dozen mourners gathered at 12th and W streets in Sacramento Sunday afternoon near the spot where Mary Ourk was gunned down early Saturday morning.

Ourk, a student at American River College, was driving south on 12th Street around 2 a.m. Saturday when a vehicle pulled alongside Ourk's car and a gunman opened fire.

Ourk was pronounced dead at the scene from a single gunshot wound. Ourk and a friend had just left the Empire Entertainment Center nightclub near 15th and R streets moments before the shooting. Ourk's passenger suffered minor injuries from shattered glass.
