An electrician suffered burns in a house fire in Old Sacramento today. The man working on a Victorian-style building said a panel he was working on flashed and started a large fire.

“The good news is these are really old buildings, heavy wood timber, they can burn very easily. Our crews were able to get here really fast and stop this fire from spreading. it could have been a lot worse," said a Firefighter from Sacramento Metro Fire.

The electrician suffered first and second degree burns.
