Parts Of Downtown Sacramento In The Dark
Some Sacramento residents may have had a hard time waking up Monday morning after a section of downtown lost power.
Sacramento Municipal Utility District said 1,500 Customers were in the dark Monday morning. The power outage started at the North City Substation on 20th Street. Everyone got power back around 5 a.m., except the water treatment plant which was running on half its power.
SMUD is still looking into what caused the power outages.
