A man accused of vandalizing a Sacramento high-rise has been taken into custody.

Wenceslao Leyva, 31, faces charges of felony vandalism and burglary, accused of spray-painting a building at the corner of 10th and J streets.

The historic building is in the process of being renovated.

The vandalism spanned six floors and resulted in more than $50,000 in damage, police said.

Investigators said they are searching for a second suspect.
