A swastika was sprayed on a children's slide, and gang signs down the other.

"It's disgusting to see this," said Steve Simms, Elk Grove Community Services District.

The people who oversee the parks tried to remove every price of the graffiti, but they know vandals will be back. They said the problem is so persistent, they may never be able to stomp it out.

Sims, who Manages Parks for the city of Elk Grove, says every one of the 28 parks he oversees has been hit with graffiti or vandalized in some other way. He's frustrated by the damage. Also, parents who bring their children to the parks don't want to explain the hateful signs.
