Anyone have any good idea's for New Year's plans in the greater Sacramento area?  I am looking to take my wife out but need ideas.  Where do the 30 something crowd hang out?

My husband and the family plan to do the same thing we do every year other than go to church and fellowshop with our family there, spend that time with our children and than once they're asleep, spend that time together in prayer as well as with our Sparkling flavored drink and Thank God that we have come through another year and going into one more together with our children. Calling all our family members and telling them "Happy New Years". This is a special year for us because we will be living in our first home that we've purchased.

That sounds like a nice pleasant way to spend the night.  What church do you go to if you don't mind me asking?  I consider myself Christian, but I don't acutally go to church right now. Several of my family members including my grandmother and aunt and uncle go to the Lutheran church right off Antelope.

We ended up staying the night on the Delta King.  The fireworks were great from the deck.

I assume you had to have a room to be allowed on there and that the bar was open... How much did that run?

Yes we had a room, parking, dinner, breakfast, and brunch New Years day.  It was not cheap.  We spent about $600 total.
