I learned today that, unfortunately, SacramentoFoodGroup.org, a local forum devoted to food-related topics in the Sacramento, CA area has decided to shut down... I am sorry to see them go and wish them the best of luck wherever life takes them after this.

oh, maybe I should have mentioned that their site was down -- that's why I asked if you'd consider adding this forum. I didn't know it was down for good. I used to lurk there all the time.

It's on "hibernation" for 3 months, which will give me time to decide if I want to do it again. I am 99% sure I won't.
Part of the problem is we had lots of lurkers but not lots of posters joining in...forums need daily discussion to survive. Poor Eric can't be "the only one" here posting.

We have a few, but the daily discussions are few and far between. With a baby due any day, I'm finding it hard to promote the site as much as I've wanted. I'm glad to see you here though!
