Updated pet food recall list

The list keeps growing and the one that the media provides seems to just be for one company, Menu Foods. Now it looks like others may be affected as well. Below is a list of recall notices by company provided by the FDA.

I'd also like to add that we feed our dog Innova, which is made by Natura Pet Products.

Our cat food; however, is Spa Select by Blue Buffalo... I was worried until I checked and only one run of their kitten food was affected, so it looks like we're in the clear there as well...

thanks for all the updates, eric. good thing my kitties refuse to eat anything other than Science Diet dry food. finicky FTW!

I used to feed our cats Science Diet because that's what the vets recommended, but after reading more about what goes into it, we switched. I also learned that a lot of vets are compensated by various companies at the vet school stage, so there's a reason why they may push or stock one brand more than others. Wink
