Hi all, my hubby and I are kind of new to Sacramento, so we're still getting to know the city.  We love it so far, though!

We're both attorneys and we just bought our first home in East Sac, after renting for a year.  We love hanging out in Midtown and East Sac, enjoying the local restaurants, catching live music shows and escaping to Tahoe or SF for the weekend occassionally. 

I'm originally from D.C. so I love the Capitol area. . . the Capitol building reminds me of home.  We don't have any kids yet, but we're looking into getting a dog and/or a cat now that we're in a house. 

We are both amateur foodies and wine-os so we really enjoy gourmet cooking and learning more about the great wines they make here in California.
