Hi all:

I currently live in Washington state and will be moving to Sacramento around the end of January/beginning of February. I will be working in the Capital Mall area downtown and was wondering where the safe neighborhoods are. I would like to live as close to work as possible, but safety is paramount. Will also be attending Sac City College part-time and would appreciate any info about the school and the area. Any recommendations regarding apartments or areas to live in or avoid would be greatly appreciated!
