A man was shot Friday afternoon across the street from Sacramento High School.

Emergency crews were at the intersection of 34th and Y streets at about 1:15 p.m., where the victim was seen lying on a sidewalk.

Police said they had few details about the cirumstances of the shooting because the victim was being uncooperative with emergency personnel.

Officials said Sacramento High School has been put under lockdown.
