Elizabeth Edwards Makes Capital Stop

Quote
Her husband may be lagging behind frontrunner Hillary Clinton in the polls, but Elizabeth Edwards, wife of Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards, remained steadfast in her vigorous campaign schedule.

Speaking Saturday to the California Democratic Party's executive board in Sacramento, Edwards said that under her husband's proposal, everyone in America would have health coverage.

She also said Americans need to be patriotic over more than a war, including being patriotic about saving this planet.

Though battling stage 4 cancer while raising three children and her husband trailing in the polls, Edwards is in the middle of an intense campaign swing that will take her from New Hampshire to California and on to Iowa in four days.

I wish I would have known. I would have loved to see her in person. I think she's an amazing person Smiley
