So I'm sitting here watching TV on a peaceful Sunday morning and see a commercial that begins, "there's no reason not to have a plan in case of a terrorist attack..."

Let the propaganda begin - The Terrorists are coming! The Terrorists are coming!

I heard an interesting statistic the other day, that something along the lines of 50,000 people have died from acts of terrorism since 1969. Apparently more people die from nut allergies a year when you take an average of how many people die from terrorism each year - I make it around 1,315.

Put like that, it doesn't seem logical to invade any country and take away more innocent life. To me war is never justified, however, I concur that there must be some form of defense, but for 1,315 a year, this is ridiculous and it deeply sickens me.

Place me in Rupert Murdoch's shoes and I'll air a dire warning about nut allergies or drowning in your own bath every hour on the dot!

Because someone living under a rock may need to read this - Bush has sent more Americans to their deaths in Iraq than were killed in 9/11. Add to that that the war is based on a lie, then that makes Bush the biggest threat to our country there is today or has ever been. Just because Bush says that Saddam is "the guy who tried to kill my dad."

I did a quick search and found the following transcripts... is this what you're talking about?

Quote
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Mom?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Dad?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: How long should I wait for you?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Mom, if I'm at soccer practice...

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What if something happens?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Will you come get me?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There's no reason not to have a plan in case of a terrorist attack.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Mom, if you're not home should we go to the neighbor's house?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And some extremely good reasons why you should.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Can you tell me?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Talk to your family about what you would do in case of an emergency. For more information go to www.ready.gov.
