I'm not sure if anyone else here is from Natomas, but the site is less than a week old, so give it time... Any help via word of mouth would be greatly appreciated!

Hey folks, I'm from Boston and just got a job offer in Yuba City. The company plans to move to the Natomas area. We had originally wanted to live in Folsom/Roseville but I was told the commute to either Yuba City or Natomas from Folsom/Roseville would be bad, moreso to Yuba City.

So we're looking at Natomas now to rent first. Someone mentioned Natomas Park or Westlake Village. Any input there on the best apt to rent? I started looking at rent.com but they don't list Natomas as a town since it's part of Sacramento.

We're looking for the best neighborhood, what is your take on Natomas compared to LandPark or Fair Oaks. We want residential like Folsom but with modern amenities.

OMG I totally missed your reply! Im so sorry!

Most homes in Natomas are newer than those in Land Park and Fair Oaks and it's closer to downtown, which is a good and bad thing IMHO. There are a lot of new businesses in the area, so that's great! But, I've heard some horror stories about people moving in and having bad neighbors because nobody lived there when they bought the house. That's one good thing about older neighborhoods!

Another Nato here, (I like that term). I have been in the area since I first moved to Sacramento and I love it. Everything is just so convenient!
