Home Invasions Reported At Sacramento Apartment Complex

Quote
The search continued Friday for a man responsible for a string of home invasions reported at a Sacramento apartment complex.

Police said women have been targeted in all three of the attacks at the River Terrace complex, located in the Natomas area at 2592 Millcreek Drive.

Two of the crimes occurred at 1:50 p.m. and 2:05 p.m. Sunday. The third home invasion took place on June 10 at 10:30 p.m., authorities said. Officials said that each time, the man approached an apartment and brandished a handgun when a woman answered the door.

Police said he forced his way in and robbed or sexually assaulted the women.

The man was described as 18 to 21 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 150 to 170 pounds. Police said victims described him as having very short hair and a medium to dark complexion.

He was described as clean-shaven, and has been seen wearing a black T-shirt and maroon basketball shorts with a white stripe down the side. The man's demeanor is usually polite, often using the ploy of being lost and needing directions, police said.

Anyone with information may contact Crime Alert at 916-443-HELP or 1-800-AA-CRIME. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
