Police said they have identified a man wanted in connection with a home invasion robbery and are asking for the public’s help finding him.

They said that on Sunday, June 24, at about 4 a.m., Carrington Lloyd Russelle, 21, entered a Natomas home and robbed the residents at gunpoint. Russelle allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in the house before leaving in the victims’ vehicle.

An exhaustive investigation including a search of the vehicle pointed to Russelle, said police.

Russelle was described by the Sacramento Police Department as standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds. They said he has black hair and brown eyes.

Police said Russelle has ties in the East Bay Area as well as in Sacramento, and is considered armed and dangerous.

Police said they urged anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Russelle to contact the Sacramento Police Department at 916-264-5471 or Crime Alert at 916-443-HELP, or 1-800-AA-CRIME. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
