A facelift is nearly complete to ease traffic at one of Sacramento's most frustrating intersections.

Traffic has long been a problem for drivers trying to access the Natomas Marketplace shopping center on Truxel Road at Gateway Park Boulevard.

Drivers regularly sit through one and sometimes two traffic light cycles before being able to make a left turn into the shopping center.

A $950,000 project will add another left-turn entrance into the center. New traffic lights, cameras and a computer that can sense and react to traffic flow are also part of the improvements.
