A high-speed chase exceeding 100 miles per hour on Highway 50 Wednesday morning ended with a crash in Orangevale and two men taken into custody on burglary charges.

Peter Ivanovich Pekun, 28, of North Highlands, and Donald Diffin, 35, who said he was homeless, did not suffer visible injuries, Folsom Police Officer Kurt Knudsen said. One of the men complained of pain and was taken to Mercy San Juan Medical Center but has been released from hospital.
