A man who ran a prostitution ring out of an Orangevale tanning salon has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of pandering.

Jesus "Jesse" DeLeon, 45, of Sacramento, ran an illicit business under the name "Cancun Tanning," but tanning was not one of the services offered, investigators said.

Sacramento County sheriff's deputies uncovered the operation in which male customers paid to get past the reception area into a private back room used for sexual acts.
