Sac Deputies Seek Missing Woman
Authorities searched for a missing at-risk woman who left her Orangevale care home Monday and may be facing health concerns, Sacramento County Sheriff's officials said.
Betty Pane, 78, was last seen leaving leaving the Orangevale Conv Hospital, 9260 Loma Lane in Orangevale around 7:45 a.m. Monday, Sacramento County Sheriff's Sgt. R.L. Davis said. Since Monday, Pane spent one night at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Sacramento and was seen by her son and a member of her church group.
Her son said his mother was recently released from a psychiatric facility, Davis said. Caretakers reported Pane left without her medication, making her prone to becoming disoriented and confused.
Pane is described as a white female, 5-foot-7, with grey hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark hat with red lines, beige pants, and a dark-colored shirt.
Anyone with information as to Pane's whereabouts is asked to call the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department at (916) 874-5115.
