Kings Hire Cavs' Natt as Assistant Coach
The Sacramento Kings continued filling out the staff of new coach Reggie Theus, hiring former King and Theus teammate Kenny Natt as an assistant coach Saturday, the team announced.
Natt spent the past three seasons as an assistant with the Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
"We're excited to bring Kenny to Reggie's staff," Kings President Geoff Petrie said. "He brings a wealth of knowledge to the staff."
The move to Sacramento is the latest stop in Natt's 27-year pro basketball career, which also included nine seasons with the Utah Jazz as an assistant under coach Jerry Sloan.
In 1980, Natt began three seasons in the NBA playing for Indiana, Utah, and the then-Kansas City Kings. Natt was a member of the 1984-85 Kings, playing with teammate Theus.
