It sounds to me , like none of you have cared for a disabled person. It is the most harowing and horrid experience you can think of. Even though we love them, their care is so <HARD> No matter how much you love them, you also resent them for the demand they put on you. Right on to the parents who did this. You must make your life worth living too. Not just those you are caring for. This is not new, this has been done for years. It is recommemded by the Docs, when these individuals are born. This was just picked up by the media, believe me ITS NOT NEW.I was done in my own family and we are glad we did it .

I know this quite a pollution problem, but I really love the ole wood fire. I wish I still had one once in a while. My lovely Granny in Portland, still burns in her fireplace, whenever <she wants> doesn`t pay any attention to the air  reports. I scold her all the time.

Yes, they said to stay off of the bone, until it is good and healed. I think the Docs feel he won`t mind them anyway, so total rest is recommended.The steroid use is a consideration. I guess thats why they want him to stay off of it. The soft bone, thing ,from steroid use. Can`t be good.
