1  General Discussion / Automotive / Hello, I need a good mechanic for my 1980's GM car on: March 03, 2008, 11:42:35 PM
 Wink

I am new to the Sac area. I live off of Madison Ave. near Citrus Heights. I have a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera and I need to get hooked up with a general mechanic/tech who is honest, does a good job the first time and does not take his customers "to the cleaners".  Driving such an old beater, I am not infinately rich.  Any recommendations?  Please don't refer me to Pastor Auto Service...bad business experience there.

I prefer old-time, personable independant "mom-and-pop" shops, not dealerships.  You know....like friendly hometown neighborhood Murph's Union 76 from the 1970's!!!
