Using global warming as a facade for polution issues is just silly. While polution does need to be confronted, the best way to do that is by going after the true culprits and not using some theoretical doomsday as an excuse.

And so have the democrats in order to receive funding for their personal projects. If the war in Iraq is so horrible, why is it the democrats are always willing to "compromise" and allow more spending and troops to be sent over in exchange for their domestic programs to receive favorable bills or financing? Simple... they don't care about the war... hell, I bet half of them even support it.

Politicians are in the business of riding the public popularity wave, they don't give a damn about what we think.
