What bothers me most is the name being available, but more than that is that you don't need a first name. You can plug in a last name and it will give you everyone in the database that shares the last name. That way stalkers don't really have to know your legal first name to find you. They can look and the list and deduce which one is you.

My wife works in Corrections and inmates are around her during the day. Thanks to the Bee, our stress level went up that much more now that any inmate with internet access can connect name and location to her. If anything happens to her because of their irresponsible, misguided and BLATANTLY STUPID actions, I will make it my personal mission in life to make the Sacramento Bee go bankrupt and to make sure it quickly becomes a thing of the past.
