A Democratic candidate in Florida who lost the election by a narrow margin asked to be able to review the code used in voting machines that may have lost her votes. A judge has denied her, instead protecting the company, Election Systems & Software and their profits. Christine Jennings lost by less than 400 votes in an election where 18,000 electronic ballots did not show any votes cast in that race.

You know the Republicans would seek revenge and with Cheney as the deciding factor, this is a really sad turn of events. On the bright side, people who have seen the Senator are optimistic.

No, the American people understand that it's impossible for us to succeed in Iraq. Why can't you?? Even with several times as many troops, war scenarios have shown that they've known it's impossible since, what, 1999??

Here are some interesting tidbits about this Gates guy, and correct me if I'm wrong on any of these: During the Iran Contra Scandal, he was in a position to know about the activities. He was in the CIA with George Bush Sr. and helped arm and finance Al-Qaeda. He was on the board of directors of several companies, including an oil drilling company, and one responsible for the security of electronic voting.

Doesn't this guy sound like a winner??

You've got to love how now, all of a sudden, Bush has this brilliant idea that things must change, like he came up with it all on his own.

Of course we weren't consulted, but they'd argue that we approved it by voting them into office and that by doing so we trust everything they do, which is the biggest load of crap I've ever typed!

It's ridiculous how people try to push their religious views onto other people! Nobody should change just because some political hack thinks his views are right and anyone w/ another view is wrong.
