A 17-year-old boy was arrested Friday in connection with a two-alarm fire earlier in the day at a vacant hotel building in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District officials said.

Authorities said the teen, whose name was not released because he is a juvenile, will likely face charges of recklessly causing a fire in a commercial building, felony vandalism, burglary and trespassing.
