New Folsom Prison was in lockdown Thursday night while correctional officers mourned the death of one of their own.

Officer Pablo Vazquez died earlier in the day in a rollover accident that threw his car into a ditch on Highway 50.

Many correctional officers received grief counseling, officials said.
