A Rio Linda woman is turning to the internet to stop criminals targeting her neighborhood.

Rhena Bowler says after being hit by thieves and burglars she decided to post warnings on Craig's list sending and receiving alerts online.

Now people from around her area have joined in creating a type of virtual neighborhood watch.

The sheriff's department says they support what Rhena's doing as long as she hands over any leads she gets.
