The smell of burning tires filled the air in Roseville early Thursday after a fire broke out at a junkyard.

The blaze, which started at a business on PFE Road, burned unnoticed for a while before firefighters were called in.

Flames took over storage racks and a rail car.

Crews had to use bolt cutters to get inside the facility.

Investigators were looking into the cause of the blaze.
