Why are there no jobs here lately?? Its all high professions, nothing for young people and entry levels. My husband has been looking for months! Also, There are no venues, only boring bars here. Why dont we have any night clubs? This really is an old person town! I hate it here.

Roseville is a bedroom community--the folks who work in jobs above the burger-flipping level generally commute to Sacramento.

There were a couple of venues in the old roseville and Vernon Street/Riverside area--the Owl Club in old town, although I don't know if they're still around, and Willemina's on Riverside, but I think they closed down. I think there are a couple of venues over the bridge in Citrus Heights, but most of them are of the "bar with a tiny stage" variety.

I'd recommend going to Dimple (it's off of Douglas, I think--I know how to get there but not how to tell people how to get there) Records and checking out some flyers and free papers if you're looking for advice about music venues.

But I suspect that, as with jobs, most people drive to Sacramento for that sort of entertainment.
