Suspect In Series Of Bank Robberies Arrested
An Orangevale man suspected in bank robberies in Sacramento, Amador, Placer and Nevada counties was arrested Monday in Roseville, FBI officials said.
Jim Brian Smith, 26, was arrested by officers from the Roseville Police Department in the area of Wills Road.
Authorities said Smith is suspected of robbing a US Bank branch on Fairway Drive in Roseville, a Bank of Lodi branch on Main Street in Plymouth, a Washington Mutual branch on Madison Avenue in Sacramento, a Placer Community Credit Union branch on Nevada City Highway in Grass Valley, and a Golden One Credit Union branch on Highway 65 in Lincoln.
