The 2007 Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure was today at Cal Expo and the turnout was the best ever - around 25,000 people!! Here are some pics I took...

At the start of the walk, Edie Lambert from KCRA Channel 3 (and the emcee for the event) was walking next to us Smiley

The Race For The Cure is a truly amazing event and I'm definitely looking forward to doing it again next year... hopefully you all will join us as Team SacForums.com! Big Grin

Does it feel great to get out and walk amongst other people who believe in the same causes as you do. I know for me it is a great feeling. It seems to have had a huge turnout, which is always a good indication that people really do care.

It's just such a great show of support, seeing thousands of people in just our area that have been touched, in one way or another, by Cancer and doing their part to help raise awareness.

Here's a site where anyone who's been affected by Cancer can create a blog:

Sorry, I didn't see your post...
I used a Canon A-80 I believe. Nothing great, but I like the flip out screen that I can rotate, so it's easy to take pictures holding the camera over the crowd Smiley
