More than two months after Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputy Jeff Mitchell was shot and killed along a rural road, the department hopes new billboards will remind the public that his killer remains on the loose.

This week 20 billboard reward signs went up around the Sacramento area. The signs show the smiling face of Mitchell, along with information about the $250,000 reward.
