Detectives Seek Convenience Store Robber
Sacramento County seriff's detectives are looking for a man who held up a Circle K store and may be responsible for other robberies.
The robbery of the Circle K at 11079 Folsom Boulevard in Sacramento took place at 5:30 p.m. on May 22.
According to a sheriff's news release, the robber entered the store and approached the counter. He displayed a handgun to the store clerk and demanded money. After the clerk had opened the cash register, the man walked behind the counter and took the money from the open register. The robber fled after ordering the clerk to the back of the store.
The suspect (shown above) is described as a black man, between 30 and 40 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing 200 pounds. He wore a white t-shirt with the words "FUBU Brand Denim Industries" written on the front, tan pants, and a black baseball hat with red lettering.
Store security cameras captured images of the man during the robbery.
Detectives believe this man may also be responsible for additional robberies in the Sacramento area.
