missed it..but sounds interesting..

Situation you fear is valid as when people don't have to work for knowledge they don't respect it's power and ending up with responsability of their acts could be out the window due to imaturity or what have you. Personally I don't want a kid or whack job to know how to shoot up or how to build a land mine or dirty bomb, etc. At same time though I'm not at all for oppression of knowledge and rights that get's us to where we need to be from where we been.. 
Without attention/publicity to an issue there is less chance that it will be attended to properly by people in the right position.
Without seeing this thread or hearing vaguely something of it on radio I would not know of a dirty bomb issue. With their info I, you , or Joe Blow chemical salesman may now be able to be on look out for things out of ordinary?
