Drug agents investigating dozens of sophisticated marijuana operations inside Sacramento area homes scored a key break Friday when one of the growers agreed to cooperate in the probe.

Agents said they trailed Philip Yu, 29, of Oakland, in early August as he drove a white cargo van from one of the homes in Elk Grove to a martial arts studio in San Francisco's Chinatown.
