If someone were to move to Sacramento for work, does anyone have advice as to places to live? Say if you got a job downtown, what are some good neighborhoods that are pretty safe and are within 25 minutes or so driving to work?

I suppose it depends on how much you are willing or able to spend on rent or on a new home.  What kind of a budget are we talking about here?

It also depends on what size house, if you want a new one, what kind of neighborhood, atmosphere, how fast you drive, etc Wink

If you don't mind something older, you could look into Land Park, Tahoe Park, Midtown, but if you want something newer, most of the developments are in Natomas, Laguna and West Sac...
