Places to teach/practice driving--help needed

Hi,
We're new to sacramento, and I'm trying to teach my teenager driving... Could you suggest some better places/ open roads where she can practice before hitting the road. Btw, we live in Natomas area.

Welcome to the site!
There are plenty of empty parking lots in that area in the evenings after work. And be sure to check out Arco Arena, unless they've locked it down now...
