Sacramento Police Look For The 'Spiderman Bandit'

Quote
Sacramento Police and the FBI are looking for 'Spiderman'. But this is no webbed hero, he's a serial bank robber.

The so-called 'Spiderman Bandit' is suspected of robbing at least six banks in the Sacramento area since January.

Yesterday he targeted the Washington Mutual Bank on K Street. The same bank he allegedly robbed in May.

He's called the 'Spiderman Bandit' because he has spiderweb tattoos on both arms. He's described as a black male adult with a light complexion, 30-39 years of age, 5’10” – 5’11”, slender build, black hair that is balding on top and a thin mustache.

The “Spiderman Bandit” is suspected in the robbery of the following banks:
River City Bank, 900 K Street, Sacramento, California, on January 29, 2007;
Union Bank, 700 L Street, Sacramento, California, on April 26, 2007;
Washington Mutual, 801 K Street, Sacramento, California, on May 11, 2007;
US Bank, 980 9th Street, Sacramento, California, on May 17, 2007;
Bank of the West, 601 J Street, Sacramento, California, on May 22, 2007; and
Washington Mutual, 801 K Street, Sacramento, California, on July 16, 2007.

Anyone with information on the 'Spiderman Bandit' is asked to contact the FBI in Sacramento at (916) 481-9110, the Sacramento Police Department at (916) 808-0665, or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP.
