The Sacramento Union Is Back
It's been popping up all over Sacramento; a familiar face from the past.
The original Sacramento Union began in 1851. Mark twain wrote for the newspaper in the gold rush days. For decades, the Union's conservative voice challenged cross-town giant, The Bee.
At one time, The Union's circulation climbed as high as a 100,000 a day. When the paper was sold, readership fell. In 1994, The Union unplugged its presses. But now it's reborn.
