Two people were arrested in the Sutter County town of East Nicholas Friday morning in connection with an alleged bank robbery that took place in Sacramento a short time before, police said.

Authorities said the incident began when a man wielding a shotgun held up a Bank of America branch at 2861 Del Paso Road.
