Eric,
That is so cool! Thank you. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get contact info for all the advertisers.
Posters I can do myself with a link to this forum.

Thank you Eric for removing their banners. I am so upset by this. Why did they have to publish middle initials also? Why cant they at least just use first initial last name next to where I am every monday-friday? I am going to get crackin on emails and phone call complaints to anyone and everyone. Thanks for the info everyone

Has anyone checked out the birds eye mapping feature on live.com? I believe this is Ms. Hill's house when she lived in North Carolina up until a couple months ago...

Found a wiki site that has multiple states workers info on it

Below is a site that has links to many databases with name based searches for salary. A couple links are out of date...
"
http://wikifoia.pbwiki.com/State+Salary+Database
"
Apparently the Bee isn't the only one doing this and there are even a few states that made their employee information available online.

With the uproar about the Bee's database, how does everyone feel about having the above link remain on the site?

I just posted a Sacramento Bee Boycott Information thread here:
http://www.sacforums.com/sacramento_discussion/sacramento_bee_boycott_information-t1566.0.html
You can use that thread to share strategy and information in your fight against the Bee...

I saw the information that the unions put out about the "electronic protest." I think the unions are trying to make this go away by ignoring it just like the paper. No one from the State Government is trying to help us, no one from our unions is doing anything except the obligatory (spelling?) "we're looking into it." I think we need to get a bunch of people together and demonstrate in front of the Bee. We could take it a step further by doing it on a weekday and either using a vacation day or sick day to also send a message to our legislature and our unions that we will not sit idly while they debate the issue to death. All of them will let the issue die, and we can let that happen.

I just got the following email from a coworker:
SEIU Local 1000 is planning an action against the Sacramento Bee for their lack of responsibility by publishing information that any reader could use to find out where you work and how much money you make by just typing in any State Employees name.
The time and place will be coming at a later date. It looks like next Wednesday but I not positive.

I hope they email everybody. I'm kind of new to the state, after 9 years in the military. Are entities like the SEIU and CCPOA part of eachother or are they completely separate? If they're separate, hopefully they will all join together in protest against the Bee. I think whatever they're planning would have a max impact if everybody joins together.

I don't know. I didn't actually get it from the same union rep that sent the first email. I got the one I just posted from a coworker, who I think got it from a friend in another dept.

I just read that Melanie Sill lives in Elk Grove. I don't know the source, so it's not confirmed.
