Is the Flu Going Around in Sacramento in a big way right now?  My family just got together for Christmas in Sacramento yesterday morning and today everyone is sick with the flu.  Thankfully, I was not there as I was with my girlfriend's side of the family who lives on the coast.  Is it just my family in Sacramento or do others have the flu right now too?

I've had a bad cold all weekend... my head is really stuffed up right now! It feels like someone has their hands covering my ears & is squeezing w/ all their might... I guess I got it from my wife, who also had an ear infection. We had x-mas dinner at my aunt's house & she was coming down w/ something she got from people at work. And a bunch of people in my office are out this week... I haven't heard of anyone I know having the flu though...

I just got off the phone with my poor mother and she told me she had been throwing up all morning long.  Actually, there are more details than that, but I don't want to gross anyone out.

Sorry to hear about your illnesses - it sounds like you have two something that's just about as bad if not worse than the flu. My only advice is to turn up the heat, stay warm, and sleep it off.  There's nothing that works better for me when I am sick than a good nap.

I'm pretty sure it's not the flu, but my wife and I have been pretty sick lately... She's had something that started w/ a sore throat and went to her lungs & she's still coughing since it started. It finally caught up to me a couple days ago and it feels like it's on its way out. I did have a 100.5 temp for a day, but that was it. My throat's a little raw and I'm coughing a little now & then...

I am also pretty sure it's not the flu because some of my relatives have also had it. Luckily, I did not catch whatever it is at all.

Between allergies and a not so happy tummy, it has been a rough couple of weeks. I can deal with the allergies, but the other situation is keeping me close to home and THAT I can do without!
