Four-Alarm Fire Contained In South Sacramento
A four-alarm grass fire in south Sacramento was contained late Tuesday night after several structures were burned.
The massive fire started shortly after 4 p.m. near Florin Road and South Watt Avenue and burned over 25 acres.
Three buildings were damaged in the fire -- a residence that was occupied and two abandoned homes.
More than 60 firefighters from Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, Sacramento City Fire Department and Elk Grove Fire Department battled the blaze.
One person suffered smoke inhalation and a firefighter received minor burns.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
